Excellent upright deciduous shrub best used for hedges.  Bright golden foliage lasts all season.  Fall brings a nice purple-red tone.  Non-invasive privit. Full sun or filtered shade.  Tolerates many soils, and heat and drought tolerant. Use as a hedging or foundation planting.  Blooms on old wood. Use as a “thriller” in a large pot, because of it’s neat foliage, it makes a great filler in floral arrangements. Zone 5-8
