Big-bloomed “WOW” variety is excellent for early plantings. Frost/Freeze tolerant and takes the heat too. A good rock garden plant, it forms a low, trailing mound or cushion. Clip plants lightly after blooming to maintain a bushy habit. Airy clusters of bright golden- yellow blooms. Average to poor soil in full sun. Needs excellent drainage. Zone 4-9. Deer and rabbit resistant, attracts butterflies.
