Full sun- part shade. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 3-8.
Apply mulch to maintain soil moisture if planted in higher sun.
Prune in late winter/early spring.
Apply controlled release fertilizer in early spring.
Additional dose of liquid feed may be needed by mid summer.
