This ilex grows in a pyramidal shape that develops white flowers in the Spring in order for black berries to produce later on. This shrub is also bird friendly. Does well when planted in full sun to part shade in moist soil, it can tolerate some standing water. Can be used as an accent plant, in mass plantings, or to naturalize woodland gardens. Zone 6-9.
