Begonia Grandis 5"

Hardy plant produced from tubers  Large fleshy pale green heart shaped leaves, red underneath. Plants have pink arching sprays with reddish buds and pink drooping flowers. Arching sprays of pale pink flowers. Partial to fairly deep shade in humus rich, moist, but well drained soil.  Plant will self-seed. Zone 6-7. Tolerates heavy shade and Black Walnuts. Good shade border plant or unusual addition to dappled shade of a woodland or shady hillside garden.
