Arisaema Consanguineum 5" Square

Woodland plant. Stalks arise, topped with an unfurling radial leaf with 12 leaflets. Leaves also have dramatic drip-tips. A pitcher-like spathe with a large hood ends in a dangling thread. Hooded spadix followed by red berries. Humus rich, moist woodland soil. Tolerates very deep shade and poorly drained soil. Deer resistant. Zone 5-9.
