'Ogon' is a rounded, multi-stemmed, deciduous flowering shrub with thin twiggy branches. Young leaves emerge chartreuse, slowly fade to a bright light green, and become orange-yellow in fall. In mid spring, white flowers grace the slightly arching upright stems. Makes a wonderful addition to foundations, boarders, or sunny woodland margins, and also works well as a specimen.
Full sun. Average moist, well-draining soil. Zone 4-8.
Attracts pollinators including butterflies, deer resistant, some drought tolerance.
Blooms on new wood - if needed, prune immediately after flowering.
