Syringa Betsy Ross 2 Gal

Blooming large, fragrant, pure white panicles in early spring, 'Betsy Ross' pours that classic lilac scent in to the air. With increased disease and pest resistance, this shrub has decent mildew resistance allowing the deep green foliage to remain attractive all season long. This deciduous multi-trunk shrub makes beautiful cut flowers, and works well as an informal screen, background shrub, or specimen. 

Full sun. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 2-8.

Attracts pollinators including hummingbirds and butterflies. 

Blooms on old wood - if needed, prune after flowering. 

Fertilize in early spring with the emergence of new growth.
