Heptacodium Miconoides Temple of Bloom-22 Pw 5 Gal

This tall arching multi-stemmed shrub with attractive peeling bark grows rapidly. Come late summer it fills your space with ornamental fragrant white flowers on seven tiered panicles. Then, after those flowers drop in early fall, what remains are the stunning red sepals and showy purple/red berries. 

Attracts pollinators including hummingbirds and butterflies, heat tolerant. 

Full sun-part sun. Any soil that is moist, and well-draining. Zone 5-9.

Pruning is usually not necessary, but the shrub can be limbed up as plant matures to enjoy the bark. 

Fertilizer is not required but woody plant granular fertilizer can be applied in early spring.
