Hosta Spartacus 2 Gal

A green centered sport of ‘Sea Gulf Stream’ this hosta will become a beautiful large mound of rippled, sun tolerant foliage.  Heart shaped leaves that are deeply veined and are slightly reverse-cupped.

Light to full shade in average soil. Likes a moist location but will tolerate dry shade. 

Zone 3-9

The mainstays of the shade garden. Mixed mass plantings of hosta can create an interesting groundcover of shapes and colors. Hostas emerge late in spring so interplant with spring flowering bulbs and ephemerals. Plant with ferns, tricyrtis, helleborus, pulmonaria, woodland phlox, and aster diviratica.
