'Spine Tingler' is aptly named for its dark green leaves that have spiny margins. These leaves take on a slight blush tint. Unlike other Epimedium, 'Spine Tingler' sends flowers and foliage up at the same time. Part to full shade in average soil. Once established will do well in dry shade. Zone 5-9. Plant as ground cover around trees and shrubs. plant with hostas, ferns, tiarella, lungworts, and lamium.
