Podophyllum Spotty Dotty 5"

Large and vigorous, this plant features lobed, umbrella shaped leaves that are chartreuse with chocolate-brown spotting in the spring. During summer the leaves turn a bright green with lightly spotted areas. Blooms in April and May. Large, garnet red flowers are found under the leaves in clusters. This plant will thrive when planted in cool, moist, well draining, organic soils in part to full shade. It may need protected from hard frosts in the early spring. May go into early dormancy if not kept watered in the summer.
