An upright compact variety of Viburnum that boasts neat foliage, caps of white flowers in spring, and when planted with a pollinator, 'Blue Muffin produces an abundance of deep blue berries in autumn. Pollinators for this Viburnum include: 'Chicago Lustre', 'All That Glitters', and 'All That Glows'. This shrub is excellent in the landscape and works great as a hedge, screen, boarder or in foundation plantings. Best fruit occurs when Viburnums are planted in mass.
Full Sun to part shade. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 3-8.
Deer resistant, attracts pollinators, clay and Black Walnut tolerant.
Blooms on old wood - if needed, prune immediately after flowering, but this will be at the expense of fruit.
