Blueberries are attractive shrubs for the landscape as well produce edible blueberries.  They are self-fertile, but better fruit set will occur with two different kinds. The LARGEST berries. Nice fall color, plant with other ornamentals, or to outline a vegetable garden. 

Prune flowers the first year of planting to encourage vegetative growth.  After 3 years, remove oldest 1/3 of canes.  Most commonly used for pick-your-own operations.

Blooms in May and Fruit set in July-August harvest for up to 6 weeks

Highbush blueberries thrive in moist, acidic soils (pH 4.8-5.2) with full sun to part shade.  Zones 4-8.
