Come late summer light pink berries form and begin changing color to purplish-black as they ripen. Lovely in shrub boarders, foundations and  hedges. Consider this Viburnum for those low lying, wet spots such as zone 1 of rain garden, and areas along the periphery of a body of water. NOTE: For best fruit production, we recommend planting this Viburnum with another Viburnum nudum selection like 'Brandywine'.

Full sun to part shade. Average, moist-wet, well-draining soils.

Attracts pollinators including butterflies, tolerates occasional boggy conditions.
