Cornus mas aka Cornelia Cherry Dogwood is an early spring bloomer with yellow blossoms. Dark red fruits appear and mature in mid-summer. Foliage is a lovely green that helps display the berries as they ripen in mid-summer. In fall, the foliage becomes a mix of green and yellow colors with some occasional red-purple tones.
