Dark purple/green foliage is a lovely contrast against the rosy pink tubular flowers of 'Wine and Roses'. Blooming starts in late spring, and will often rebloom in summer. This Weigela works well in containers, the landscape, and make striking cut flowers.
Full sun. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 4-8.
Attracts pollinators including hummingbirds and butterflies, deer resistant.
Blooms on old wood - if needed, prune immediately after flowering.
Apply woody plant fertilizer in spring if desired.
