Bletilla Striata Kuchibeni

Easy to grow in the lightly shaded garden or in containers and is long-blooming. As clumps of 'Kuchibeni' expand gradually, the effect is sensational, especially massed under deciduous trees.  Lightly moist or rich garden soil in partial shade.  Don’t like bone dry soil and full sun. Zone 6-10. Plant with other shade lovers like hosta, astilbe, geraniums and campaulas.
