Caryopteris Dark Knight 2 Gal

A compact and deciduous shrub with a rounded habit. ‘Dark Knight’ blooms a profusion of highly fragrant flowers that are highly attractive to pollinators. Dense green foliage is also aromatic. Great addition to perennial or shrub boarders, in mass plantings, as a low hedge.

Full sun. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 6-9.

Attracts pollinators including bees and butterflies. Deer resistant. Drought tolerant.

Blooms on new wood - prune in early spring. 

May sustain significant winter damage, shrub can be cut back to where new growth is emerging to refresh stems.
