Grass Eragrostis Spectabilis Purple Love

Native grass that creates a very soft texture in the garden. Light green tufts of grass turn bronzy-red in fall. Blooms late summer in an airy cloud of reddish-purple inflorescenses. Prefers full sun in sandy or gravely areas, will tolerate poor soil. Zone 5-8. Can be used as a groundcover to control erosion along ditches. Naturalize with rudbeckia, asters, coneflowers, and boltonia.
