Compact and strikingly uniform variety with an improved bud count. Exotic in appearance, but a hardy, valuable shade plant with evergreen leathery foliage and early long-lasting blooms. Plants multiply readily into long lived clumps. Evenly moist, humus-rich soil in light to full shade. Plant with ferns, hosta, lungwort, tiarella, crested iris, cyclamen, and sweet woodruff. CAUTION - Harmful if eaten/Skin irritant. Deer and Rabbit Resistant.
