Peony Lactiflora Sorbet

Herbaceous, bushy plant produces ruby red shoots  that open into mounds of divided foliage. Large tight rounded buds open into large showy flowers. Great fragrant cutflower. Plant in a sunny location in loamy well drained site. Do not over fertilize with nitrogen.  Interplant with spring flowering bulbs so expanding peony foliage will shroud declining bulb foliage. Can use peonies as a herbaceous hedge or interplant in sunny border or cut flower garden.
