Creeping perennial forms lax mats of many-branched stems with oval leaves. Very easy ground cover or rock garden plant. Abundant sprays of flowers. Plant in full sun in well-drained poor soil. Cut back hard after flowering to induce new bushy growth. Rock garden or dry bank ground cover. Especially suited for trailing over rocks, and spilling over walls. Plant with sedum, aubrieta, and dianthus.
