Grass Sisyrinchium Angustifolium Blue-eyed Grass Lucerne

Semi-evergreen clumps of linear grass-like leaves bear blue star-like flowers at the tips of their foliage. Not a grass at all, but a member of the iris family. Flowers open on tips of leaves . This plant tolerates poor, dry soils in part shade, but thrives in moist, well drained soil in full sun. Ideal for rockeries, borders, edges of paths, and containers. Plant with heuchera, small hosta, short campanula, and geranium.
