But its not just the attractive fall foliage that makes this shrub stand out. In spring, honey-scented white flowers bloom, even in part shade! Makes an attractive specimen, and can also be planted in borders, edges, landscape or mass plantings. 

Full sun - part shade. Best fall color and bloom in higher sun. Average, most, well-draining soil. Zone 5-9.

Deer resistant, attracts pollinators. 

Pruning/trimming is not recommended as it will infringe upon the appealing natural habit.
