'Lemony Lace produces golden-green foliage in an irregular mounding habit. Late spring/early summer panicles of white bloom and give way to tasty red berries in fall. Looks stunning when planted in naturalized areas where suckering can be appreciated. Also makes a great specimen, boarder, screen, and looks especially well place when planted near bodies of water or low lying areas.
Full sun - part shade. Denser and more flowers in full sun. Deep, humusy , rich, acidic, moist-wet, well-draining soil.
Wet soil tolerant.
Prune in late winter with 1 of 3 techniques:
1. Remove dead or weakened stems
2. Shorten of one-year stems
3. Cut back to ground to rejuvenate shrub.
