Long lived, tough iris. An elegant plant with clumps of narrow sword shaped, dark green, erect, slightly arching leaves. Flowers appear on stiff stalks above foliage for a bold vertical effect. Blooms from late spring to early summer. Periwinkle blue flowers with darker blue veining and clear lemon yellow centers. Tolerates nearly any soil. Will grow in consistently wet soil or are drought tolerant once established. Will grow in full sun to light shade.  Zone 3-9.
